Our favourite restaurants in North Cyprus
5 mile: Alsancak; the nearest property is Panorama Heights.
Stunning setting above Escape beach, excellent decor a restaurant that wouldn’t be out of place in Europe varied menu that should
cover all tastes.
Not good for children, recommended for a romantic summer evening especially when the pianist is on.

A standard cypriot menu in an uninspired setting but at the weekend is absolutetly packed with locals and expats enjoying their meze to
a live band you cant help but get up and dance... brilliant.
The Address:
Karaolanoglu; the nearest properties are Melisas Place and Cyprus Hills Mountain Village.
In the restaurant quarter of Karoalanoglu just on the waters edge, an old favourite good Cypriot menu lovely sea views and if its full
there are three other restaurants within 100 yds!
Ambiance:
Karaolanoglu; the nearest developments are Melisas Place and Cyprus Hills Mountain Village.
Brilliant sea front setting excellent menu and not as expensive as you would think seeing the setting (try and get a table on the edge
of the deck). Highly recommended! Mention London and Cyprus Homes and you might get a little preferential treatment (or refused entry!).
Archway:
Zeytinlik; the nearest villas are Cyprus Hills Mountain Village.
We used the interior of this for some of our inspiration for our Lanterns development we like it so much excellent food excellent atmosphere
and you can walk home to Cyprus Hills from there!
Bizim Han:
Central Kyrenia; the nearest development is Cyprus Hills Mountain Village.
Family run restaurant good local food a lunchtime favourite of ours as it is only next door to our offices ,you must have the Beyti or the
lahmacun…… yummy
Brasserie:
Central Kyrenia; the nearest development is Cyprus Hills Mountain Village. Set in a lovely old governers office behind the Harbour has an Old world charm to it they make a proper G&T and can dish up some lovely
food to boot, all in a fantastic building.
Café Temblos:
Zeytinlik; the nearest property is Cyprus Hills Mountain Village. Bit of an odd ball this one phone to make sure its open but you have to make the effort as it is set in an old Cypriot house in Zeytinlik
(below Cyprus Hills) lots of character and charm lovely…
The Coffee Stop:
Girne Nearest development Cyprus Hills Mountain Village.
Joe makes the best full English breakfeast, coffee and cakes. He has been known to make lovely evening meal as
well. Cosy building, cosy atmosphere and good music.
Cod Baba:

If you want a reminder of home this plaice!! Does the best fish and chips ever!
Di Figaro:

Sister restaurant to Sarastro in Drury lane good traditional fair at very reasonable prices with a bit of opera thrown in for free,
romantic meal in large Italian style finca.
Dragon:

If you like fine Chinese food you will love this one and the sushi chef is a master!!!!
Efendi:

Everyones favourite whether its Sunday lunch or a Saturday night Andy has never let us down wonderfull setting in the back
streets of the Turkish Quarter of Girne stylish cosmopolitan and beautiful food in gorgeous ottoman building. Lovely inside when
they have the fires alight.
Erols:
Ozankoy Nearest development Cyprus Hills Mountain Village or The Lanterns.
On the way out of Ozankoy on the way to the lanterns this place is set overlooking the east of the island great grills and a lively atmosphere.
Ezic:
All right the menu has pictures to it but don’t let that put you off the food is consistently good and the new venue is spectacular choice of
three locations but my favourite is the Peanuts one on the cliffs ….bizarre concept but it works, great for kids.
Jashans:
Karaolanoglu Nearest development Cyprus Hills Mountain Village or Melisas Place.
A curry lovers mecca (no offense !) better in my opinion than Brick lane!
Kervan Terrace:
Kervansaray Nearest development Cyprus Hills Mountain Village or Melisas place.
Okay not the greatest meal ever but its all about the setting on the edge of the cliffs just before the brilliant mercure hotel.
Laughing budda: Upper Girne Nearest development Cyprus Hills Mountain Village.
If you feel youy miss your laocal Chinese this will give you a warm glow even down to the décor outstanding views of girne at night.
Levant Karaman Nearest development Cyprus Hills Mountain Village or Melisas place.
A hidden treat in Karmi lovely snug bar and very nice food, limited opening but worth it.
Missina:
Karaolanoglu development Cyprus Hills Mountain Village or Melisas place.
If you love sea food then this beautifully positioned restaurant on the sea is one that you must try.
Niazis:

We have a very soft spot for niazis people say its touristy but look around you 90% of the patrons are local or even greek Cypriots come
across the border for a niazi full kebeb, they have been doing it for 58 years and they now how to do it (and they have a take away
restaurant as well!!)

We recently met Graham the charming first owner of the grapevine who told me the story of its name and its not what you think a true expat
and local favourite great relaxed atmosphere, wholesome food and you even forget you are behind a petrol station!

Many pass it by but you haven’t lived until you have had their liver and onion followed by the clay oven chicken. Another lunchtime work
favourite (we do get some done honestly)
Saint Tropez:
Nearest French restaurant to Melisas place or Panorama heights.
Go upstairs to the brasserie for the best T-bone you can get all washed down with a bottle of Antik or for a romantic meal stay downstairs, superb atmosphere, superb rich food and all along to the classic soundtrack that they play...
St Kathleens:
Alagadi nearest development The Lanterns.
No Menu just meat or fish Meze luckily its near to the beach at alagadi great for a lazy Sunday lunch but not far from the lanterns...
Veranda:
